At the world's largest Expo

Scaw’s Wire and Strand division exhibited a range of concrete reinforcing products on the South Africa: Alive with Possibilities stand at the Wire, Tube and Metal 2008 Exhibition held in Düsseldorf, Germany between 31 March and 4 April.

This is the biggest exhibition in the world, staged by the International Wire and Cable Exhibitors Association and the International Wire and Machinery Association.

At least 65 000 visitors attended the show. More than 1 000 exhibitors from over 50 countries exhibited on the more than 52 000 m” exhibition space.

Included amongst the 54 countries were South Africa, represented by the South African Department of Trade & Industries (DTI) and the South African Wire Association (SAWA).

The South African National Pavilion (DTI and SAWA) had invited Scaw’s Wire & Strand division and CWI to participate in the expo.
