COILER DRUMS

Scaw‘s coiler drums have served Steckel mills both locally and abroad for many years. Each casting is the product of a single melt resulting in the production of a casting having a closely controlled uniform composition and grain structure vital for extended product life. Modern tools such as Magma Soft casting simulation software and Finite Element Stress Analysis have been used to optimise production methods and product performance in the field.

SLAG POTS & LADLES

Scaw produces Slag Pots & Ladles ranging in size from 2-5 Cubic Meters for the Metals Process Industry.

Scaw manufactures a scope of Slag Pots from two to ten cubic meters in a range of materials depending on the application. Our strength lies in our ability to combine the specific requirements of the client with the technical expertise of academia and practical foundry man skills to produce an optimal casting fit for purpose. Again we have used modern tools such as Magma Soft casting simulation software and Finite Element Stress Analysis to optimise production methods and product performance in the field.

DRAWGEAR COMPONENTS

With the commissioning of our own shredder now some years ago we have the distinct advantage of having been able to optimise our product though practical application. We have spent a great deal of time on resources in perfecting the shape and material for this application.
