Skills Development Programmes ​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Scaw Metals does offer a limited number of apprentice training opportunities each year to students who have attained the equivelant of matric with Maths and Science. Consideration is given ​to learners who have passed Matric/Technical Grade 12 (Technical Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science or currently registered for National Certificate Vocation Level 4 (NCV 4) at a Further Education and Training (FET) College.

We also offer practical training in the form of P1 and P2 modules for students studying for Engineering Diplomas in Electrical, Mechanical Physical/ Extractive Metallurgy, Non Destructive Testing and Chemical Engineering disciplines. Students who have completed all their university S4 subjects can forward their applications together with their academic records and a letter from the university confirming their completions to​​​​​​​​​​​
